Please read our Acceptable Use Policy and click the "I Agree" button at the bottom of the page before proceeding. Thank You!
All Internet resources available through the Library Computers are provided equally to all Library Users. However, public use of the Internet must be compatible with the Library=s mission and our community=s standards of common decency. The Library reserves the right to terminate Internet Access as well as library privileges for anyone not complying with this policy. Children under 18 are required to have a parent=s signature.
The Internet provides a means to access information far beyond the Library=s own collections. The Internet is a gateway to information of great diversity in many countries and cultures around the world. Because of its international character, however, there is no external control over its content. The library assumes responsibility for information on our own website at: www.frionalibrary.org
While most of the information accessed can be valuable and enlightening, the user may also find materials that are unreliable, personally offensive, or illegal under U. S. law. The library cannot police a global network and each individual user must take responsibility for his activities and for the activities of his children on the Internet. Library users, and parents of minor children (those under 18), are liable for damages directly or indirectly resulting from their use of or dissemination of information accessed on the Internet.
Parents are advised to supervise their children=s Internet sessions and may wish to review guidelines for online safety available from the library.
Our library staff will be happy to assist you in learning access to the Internet, but we may be limited by restraints of time and other job responsibilities. We hope you enjoy using the Internet as well as the more traditional resources available at your local library.
